 This site is one crazy creation, by uncommon disciples of an unusual Master. A Master whose message is laughter! Humour was a device Osho used to shake the disciples out of their slumber. It worked then, it's working now. Otoons is one unusual site where humour takes the driving seat. The site is a collection of cartoon strips from subjects ranging to politics and enlightenment, needless to say, all inspired by the Guru of laughter - Osho. Strange but appealing design elements make this site truly different and although a first time user may find navigating the site a bit enervating, it will become fun with time. The toons in the site have been classified into categories like sexOtoons, Sw. Yatri's toons and weirdOtoons; some of toons do not belong to any category. Have they done it on purpose? No clues! Like all good things come with riders this one too has a few of them - large images that take time to download, mindboggling colour schemes and toons that fail to evoke any laughter. Last word: Otoons is a huge site and if you surf it regularly, it will still take you a lot of time to go though the site. But it will be worth the time spent. OSHO WORLD |
